Service Description

United Development League (UDL) The United Development League is the next step for developing players who are ready for more structure, more game experience and the opportunity to belong to a team. Players will participate in one team-training night and one organized game night every week. UDL bridges the gap between recreational and travel soccer by providing quality local development without long-distance travel, excessive pressure or an overwhelming family schedule. Your child’s season includes 8 Tuesday team-training sessions 8 Thursday game nights 16 total sessions Consistent team placement Technical and tactical development Small-sided games and age-appropriate competition Positive, qualified training Game-style shirt Player recognition throughout the season End-of-season celebration Championship medals and a celebratory British treat for the winning team Our approach UDL is not built around pressure, EGO or winning at all costs. Players will learn to compete, communicate, overcome challenges, make decisions and grow in confidence. Effort, improvement, teamwork, character and sportsmanship will be recognized throughout the season. We celebrate winning, but we value development, character and confidence even more. Founding season pricing Founding Early Bird: $249 Early Bird pricing ends August 2, 2026. Founding Regular Registration: $279 Spaces are limited for our first season. Location and schedule Netcong Elementary School Grass field behind the school Tuesdays: Team Training Thursdays: Game Night Team information Our goal is to create separate girls’ and boys’ teams where registration numbers allow. Depending on final enrollment, teams may be co-ed during the founding fall season. Age groups, team sizes and playing formats may be adjusted slightly based on registration numbers to create the safest and most developmentally appropriate experience for every player. What players need Players must bring: Soccer ball Water Shin guards Outdoor soccer cleats or suitable outdoor footwear Indoor sneakers packed in their bag Shin guards must be worn during all practices and games. If weather requires us to move indoors, soccer cleats cannot be worn inside. Players who do not have indoor sneakers will be unable to participate indoors for safety reasons. Play. Learn. Grow.
