What is UDL?

what is the united development league

UDL is a local player-development league created for children who are ready for more structure, more game experience, and more opportunities to grow.

Players will train once each week and compete in organized games once each week. They will be placed into age-appropriate groups and teams for the season, allowing them to develop friendships, learn teamwork, and experience what it feels like to represent a team.

UDL bridges the gap between recreational soccer and travel soccer.

It offers families a more structured soccer experience without long-distance travel, excessive pressure, or overwhelming schedules.

Founding Season Age Groups

Group 1

AGES 5-7

What Makes UDL Different?

Development Before Results

UDL is not built around pressure or winning at all costs.

Our goal is to create an environment where players can compete, improve, enjoy representing their team, and learn how to handle challenges, communicate with others, and make confident decisions on the field.

Players will be recognized throughout the season for their effort, growth, teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship.

At the end of the season, the winning team will receive championship medals and a small celebratory British treat, while every player will be recognized for their individual progress and contribution to the league.

We celebrate winning, but we value development, character, and confidence even more.

“It’s not what you do when things are easy. It’s how you respond when things get hard.”

This is the first-ever season of the United Development League, and spaces will be intentionally limited.

Founding players will help shape the future of a new local development pathway built around confidence, quality coaching, team play, and a love of the game.

More development. More game experience. Less travel.
